24 year-old Rihanna is helping her hometown while she's on Christmas vacay by donating $3.5 Million (from her Clara Lionel Foundation named after her grandparents) to Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
The "Unapologetic" singer, who donated three pieces of equipment valued at $3.5 Mil, held a presentation outside the radiotherapy which was once named "The Clara Brathwaite Center" for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, earlier today.
“This was my way of giving back to Barbados in a form of philanthropy, by assisting the QEH in its continued modernization program. I believe that this will have a huge impact on the people of Barbados this was all done to save lives or at least extend it. I thank you all for being a part of it. Thank you. I’m really excited about it,” Rihanna said.And after doing such a good deed, the songstress wasn't pleased by a fan telling her that her smoking habit will end her life just like Whitney Houston:

ReplyDeleteI love that she defended herself, people always bash her and she's quiet, reads and pass it. But atimes it gets over board. Rih isn't doing hard stuff, its only weed and most people smoke it, why do they have to judge only her?
