BACK ON! Shawty Lo's "All My Babies' Mamas" Continues Production + Rapper Jai Jai Pregnant For Shawty! [UPDATED]

We recently reported that Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo "All My Babies Mamas" was axed before it even aired, because of an online petition (signed by over 38,000 people) demanding producers to cancel the show, according to the Dailybeast.
Now, an Oxygen rep confirms to Allhiphop that the show will continue production as the project remains in early development and set to air this upcoming Spring.
The spin-off will show the complicated lives of one man, his 11 children and 10 baby mamas working to keep their families together on neutral grounds. While capturing the highs and lows of this extreme "blended family."
Updated: CJ Frogozo, just dropped GWL an email stating that the spin-off is canceled and airing the reality show would have reinforced many of the stereotypes about Black men and women that have the power to influence public policy. Research shows that exploiting persistent racial stereotypes that marginalize Black Americans have real world consequences.

ReplyDeleteMaybe the checks from this show will allow Shawty Lo & all his baby mamas to send their chirren to college where they will receive enough education to put a stop to the perpetuation of this ratchet cycle they were born into
