THE PLOT THICKENS: Police Chief In Chris Brown Probation Scandal Resigns!
February 12, 2013GWL StaffThe plot thickens in the Chris Brown probation scandal, as the Chief of Police in Richmond, Virginia, Bryan Norwood, "who signed off on Brown's community service hours" has resigned-- after a L.A County District Attorney claims he never performed the hours.
According to TMZ, Bryan was instrumental in removing the singer's case from the Richmond Probation Dept. and placing it squarely in his hands. He also wrote a letter to the court vouching for Chris... claiming all of his community service had been performed.
The Mayor of Richmond says his office and the Chief reached a "mutual agreement" for his resignation, after the many speculation that the now former Chief would be resigning to get a similar job in Raleigh, North Carolina. But the buzz in Richmond is that the Brown scandal accelerated his decision.
This is definitely not looking good for Breezy, as the judge in Brown's Rihanna beating case wants him to verify his hours. If he can't, then he'll be facing Jail time.
