I'm here wondering if it was because of the gay rumors or his controlling ways?....And since he was the one to file for the divorce, maybe he found out that he can't control his wife the way he really wanted to!?.

Anyhow, former NFL star Kordell Stewart has filed for a divorce from his wife of almost two years, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" newbie, Porsha Williams.
According to Hollywoodhiccups:

"For years gay rumors have followed the ex Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. The rumors have never been substantiated, but reportedly they bothered Kordell and caused him to distance himself from his teammates. 

He even went so far to have a team meeting and told his teammates, “I believe in Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.” The rumors quieted down once he married Porsha but now that he has filed for divorce, the rumors will probably take on a new life."

TMZ also reports,

“According to Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia, the 40-year-old NFL alum — who went by the nickname “Slash” during his playing days — filed for divorce on March 22.”

And since there was no PreNup, and if she has some good dirt on him, I suggest she use it and get PAID! Just saying.
