Chris Brown Has Had ENOUGH! Says, "Jay-Z Gets A Pass For Stabbing Someone & I'm Still Paying For My Actions"
September 20, 2013GWL StaffR&B singer Chris Brown is letting the world know that he's had enough, even if it means dry snitching on another rapper to prove his point.
During his extremely candid interview with Jet Magazine, the 24-year-old "Love More" singer speaks on the hypocrisy over the media attention he has received since his assault on Rihanna in comparison to that of Jay-Z's 1999 stabbing of Lance "Un" Rivera, who reportedly broke the hip-hop mogul's heart.
When asked about facing harsh criticism from the media, he answered:
“The media is full of yellow journalism. A lot of things I say, they will flip it. Instead of them getting off on all the positive stuff that I do, they will bring out the negative and draw out that story.
No disrespect, because I’m a fan, but nobody brings up the fact that [Jay Z] stabbed somebody and sold drugs. He gets a pass.
I identify with Trayvon Martin 100 percent as far as living in 2013 and still dealing with blatant racism. This generation is so used to racism that it’s normal; we don’t care. We aren’t on drugs or catching AIDS, but they still look at us as ni**as."Breezy, who claims he's still single, also touched on his ongoing/past love triangle with Karrueche Tran and Rihanna:
You have to go through the struggle before you can get to the good part. I don’t try to lash out at people, or be as mad or impulsive as I used to be. I got to the point where it’s only so much you can take from the master, you feel me? I’ve taken my fair share of lashings.”
"Relationships are the most difficult part. That’s why I was honest with those two girls and I put out that video. My ex and I broke up because of the “situation” and she had moved on. I fell in love with another girl. Then my ex came back, so it was like, 'What is a man to do?' I told them both the truth. I didn’t do the sucker role."The new issue of Jet Magazine hit newsstands on September 23.
