HIT OR MISS? Mariah Carey In A Midriff Baring Top At The BET Taping Of Black Girls Rock! Awards Show In New Jersey!

R&B diva Mariah Carey was amongst many celebs that attended the BET taping of the Black Girls Rock! Awards show at the Performing Arts Center in New Jersey on Saturday night.

The 43-year-old "Beautiful" singer hit the stage rocking a black midriff baring top and a maxi skirt to present legendary singer and actress Patti LaBelle with the Living Legend award.

There was little on-stage rumble when Ms. Patti stopped Mariah from walking off stage and asked her to hold her award, in which Mimi told her that her arm was a little weak from her recent injury. Anyway, Ms. LaBelle clapped back and told her to hold it -- which she did!

As for her injured arm, "It was very serious and I downplayed the seriousness of the situation," Carey told Extra.

 "I dislocated my shoulder, my ribs. There was nerve damage," she said. "Anybody who's ever had multiples will know it is one of the most difficult experiences ever, but the reward is just beyond-I can't even explain how rewarding having these babies are for me. But yeah, breaking my rib was not festive. Dislocating my shoulder was not a good thing, either," Nick Cannon's wife added.

Back to the story... Carey is known for her bodacious physique, so when she stepped on stage many fans where saying she has lost her stage appearance and needs to start dressing age appropriate. We strongly disagree!

Despite the negative feedback, Mariah made up for it by posting a photo of herself and showed off her flat-toned stomach in a tiny pink top and matching bottoms while chilling with her twins (Monroe & Moroccan Cannon).

 She also captioned the photo, "Ms. Monroe preparing for her 500 hrs of beauty school." Too cute!
