Rapper Future Suing Drake For $1.5 Million in Lost Wages Over "Would You Like A Tour"

Rapper Future is reportedly suing Drake for lost wages after the "Young Money" rapper removed his name from the "Would You Like A Tour".

Drake was booked to tour with Future and R&B singer Miguel on a 39-city schedule kicking off Friday in Pittsburgh.

According to Page Six, Drake dropped Future from the tour due to his poor comments about his new album, "Nothing Was The Same," while Future was giving Billboard Magazine editors a listen to his new album, "Honest."

Future told BM writer, Erika Remirez, who later shared his comments in an article and in a Twitter feed: "Drake made an album that is full of hits but it doesn't grab you. They're not possessive; they don't make you feel the way I do."

After reading the story, Future’s horrified managers argued with the mag that his quotes were off the record and taken out of context. The site reports that the online story was later edited, but Ramirez didn’t delete her tweets.

Drake was however NOT amused and immediately had the rapper's name REMOVED from the TOUR Headliners list. But after tense negotiations, Future was brought back on but quickly noticed that his $40k a show take home had been drastically reduced... which led Future to file a suit last week.

The rappers have not yet commented on the suit.

  1. Well he should have played his roll instead of grimey thinking his bad deed would un punished without reaction. I would have done the same thing too, how they supposed to be on the same page same bus doing something to make money & have a good look and he bashing him on blast with a magazine smh. Guess future couldn't see the future of the outcome when you talk poorly of your partner
