On Friday morning, R&B singer Ashanti appeared on Bethenny Frankel's new talk show, 'Bethenny' to dish on her latest single, 'I Got It,' featuring Rick Ross, her past relationship with ex-boyfriend Nelly, and reveals why they kept it a secret.
During the interview, Ashanti recalls her past relationship with the St. Louis rapper as a distraction and revels in being single because she's able to focus on her career. She also admits that Nelly was sort of controlling. Watch the clips below:

Ashanti's 'I Got It' single -- produced by Mike Will Made-it -- is confirmed as the fourth official single taken from her upcoming fifth studio album, 'BraveHeart," due out in early 2014. [Album art about]
The song featured Rozay and it’s scheduled for release on digital retailers on November 26th. The album has been delayed several times and this song comes eight months after the release of the third official single “Never Should Have."

DeleteOkay...Relationships are a distraction because they require work but it is worth it providing you are with the right person. She is very pretty, replacing him shouldn't be a problem.
