"RHOA" Star Porsha Stewart Accused of Stealing $2,000 From A Party Promoter + Releases 'NAKED' Hair & Beauty Line!
November 25, 2013GWL StaffStill riding high from the success of her first music role in Kandi Burruss' 'A Mother's Love' stage play over the weekend. "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reality star Porsha Stewart might need to celebrate with a little bad news as she has now been accused of stealing a Florida party promoter's booking/appearance fee.
The almost divorced ‘housewife’ is on the grind and is seeking to find a solid career now that the well has run dry with her ex-NFL hubby Kordell. She’s been recently seeking bookings for paid appearances and has gotten quite a few paying gigs hosting small time events.
I say all of that to say… that a Florida promoter by the name of Tanika Oliver is claiming that after she paid Porsha half of her booking fee for an appearance, the bubbly ‘housewife’ didn’t even make it to the venue before they shut down. And wait… Stewart reportedly arrived to the event just as they were shutting down and inquired about the remaining balance of her appearance fee.
Olivier tells TMZ … she hired Stewart to make a 4-hour appearance in Ocoee, Fl. Thursday night. She wasn’t just an hour late… or 2 hours … or 3 hours. She showed up 20 minutes before they folded up tent.
According to Olivier … Stewart had a bunch of lame excuses — her flight was delayed … the driver took her to the wrong hotel … and they had to make a stop to change into fresh clothes.
Stewart was paid $2K up front — so claims Olivier — and she had the nerve to demand the $2K balance. Things got ugly and cops were called.
Police told the girls to settle it on their own and Olivier reluctantly cut Porsha a $2K check… but she tells us she’s decided to stop payment … and she wants the initial 2K back STAT.On a positive note:
Stewart's line of luxury wigs and hair extensions, offers a wide variety of styles from straight to curly with refreshing towelettes that also control frizz as well as a nail product to strengthen nails and prevent them from being brittle. Prices start a $72 for 14 inches and go up to $216 for a 32-inch piece.
