Last week, rumors swirled claiming Janet Jackson and her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana was headed for a divorce due to Wissam's controlling ways.... not wanting his wife to work or do media runs.

An insider told the National Enquirer that "47-year-old Janet is ready to throw in the towel." "She’s realized she made a colossal mistake by marrying Wissam a year ago. Janet gave up her career to be a dutiful wife – and she even took up Islam for him."
Being with a man 8 years younger than her, the source continued, "Wissam, who comes for the Middle Eastern State of Qatar, hasn’t made any sacrifices for his wife," adding:

"He travels constantly for work, and Janet wonders if he’s been tempted to stray."

“She’s confided to a few close friends and (her mother) Katherine that she’s preparing to leave him. And she’s been calling friends at all hours, crying and saying how miserable she is.”

And by signing a pre-nup and 'allegedly' demanding a guaranteed $500 million if the marriage failed, the singer told ET that it's all lies, and she's happily married to Wissam.

"The rumors about their marriage are a lie. They are very happy and very much together. In fact, the couple has recently purchased an even larger home in New York."

This April, Jackson will be traveling to Brazil to continue her work for amfAR (American Foundation for AIDS Research).
