Chris Brown Back In Court: Singer Diagnosed With BIPOLAR Disorder, Severe Insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder!
March 01, 2014GWL StaffYesterday, Chris Brown was back in court to do a follow-up since he recently graduated from a rehabilitation center in Malibu, and to answer to a pending assault charge.
Despite trying to make a comeback with his new single called "Blue Roses" featuring Ariana Grande (releasing this month), it's been confirmed that the 24-year-old singer is suffering from Bipolar Disorder and other mental illnesses such as Severe Insomnia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
In legal docs obtained by TMZ, states "Brown became aggressive and acted out physically due to his untreated mental health disorder, severe sleep deprivation, inappropriate self-medicating and untreated PTSD while in Rehab." Even though the facility didn't explain what caused the PTSD, they did confirm Chris was diagnosed with Bipolar II and was self-medicating inappropriately.
According to a letter sent to the judge from the facility, Chris learned various relaxation exercises, and he's since been tested negative for drugs, including weed, during his stay. The facility says he's doing very well. It says he gets up at 5 AM and works hard. They say he's been especially good with community service; "Mr. Brown's attitude has been beyond exemplary in regard to his community service responsibilities."
Chris and his bodyguard are currently facing misdemeanor assault charges after a man says Chris punched him in the face and yelled homophobic slurs at him outside the W Hotel in D.C. back in October. Breezy’s camp says the man was trespassing on their tour bus and they were simply reacting to his trespassing.
Despite everything that's going on around him, Brown took to his Twitter account this week and assured fans that he's okay and is now focusing on " his recovery and music."
