Things are getting nasty between Sherri Shepherd and her first ex-husband Jeffrey Tarpley, who claims the actress and The View co-host is a "horrible mother" who neglects their son due to busy work schedules and book tours.

Despite dealing with the drama of her soon-to-be ex-husband Lamar Sally over the custody of their unborn child, Shepherd's ex- [Tarpley] has reportedly filed an emergency request to obtain full custody of their special needs son, Jeffrey Jr., reports TMZ.
The gossip site also reports that Jeffrey Jr. has to wear velcro shoes because he doesn’t know how to tie his own, and reads at a second grade level due to being surrounded by "unskilled nannies."

"[He] is stuck in the middle because he lives in California, which makes it difficult to fix the problems Sherri has caused, during his short visits to New York," reports TMZ.

Apparently, the judge felt Tarpley wasn't fit to care for his 9-year-old son and has denied his request, but did schedule another court hearing in July.

Also, Shepherd has filed her own claim against Tarpley stating he is an absentee father that doesn’t deserve to be in his son’s life.
