But Last night, Robert Griffin III, a quarterback for Baylor University, was awarded the 2011 Heisman Trophy. A feat not often accomplished by black college players.
Griffin, lead his school to a 9-3 record completing 72 percent of his passes for 3,998 yards with 36 touchdown passes and a nation-leading 192.3 efficiency rating.
After grabbing 405 first-place votes, Robert Griffin III became the first Baylor University player to win the Heisman Trophy last night.
