According to Vevo, Rihanna has become the only musician to ever hit 4 billion views on the site. With the long run of hits Rihanna has been producing there's no question that she deserves her new title and everything that comes with it!
Rihanna even hopped on Twitter to celebrate after getting a hold of the news:

Now, with 180,000 dislikes and just 90,000 likes on Youtube, it seems like the public hasn’t taken to kindly to Nicki’s new video. Some viewers complained they almost had a seizure, others complained of the vulgarity of the lyrics….BUT, It doesn’t matter why or if you hated it, the only thing that matters is that you watched it (maybe even twice). That means you helped Nicki Minaj break a Vevo record.
Despite the swirling rumors, the digital queen Rihanna, recently landed at LAX from vacationing in Hawaii, was just named the most viewed female artist on VEVO.

Riri tweeted about being named the first female artist ever to reach 2 billion views on VEVO. FYI, Justin Bieber is currently the highest overall artist with 2.3 billion. And GaGa is in third with 1.8 billion.
