Stacey Dash's "Single Ladies" Replacement Is Actress Denise Vasi From "All My Children"

VH1 has finally made its decision on who will replace Stacey Dash on their popular scripted Tv Show "Single Ladies." The new chick on the block is Denise Vasi from "All My Children," who has taken the lead spot. More details below.......................

After Stacey made an abrupt exit months ago--which she claims was voluntary but we all know the deal--a new chick is hitting the set to fill the void. Producer Queen Latifah and creator Stacy Littlejohn have replaced Stacey with another bi-racial beauty--"All My Children" actress and Oil of Olay model (and the ex-girlfriend of powerful New York club owner Noah Tepperberg) Denise Vasi.

The 28-year-old is not doing Stacey's exact role of "Val," but she's playing a woman named "Raquel" who has a very similar story. Deadline reports:
Vasi will play the new role of Raquel, a close friend of Keisha (McCoy) who is a savvy business woman from a prominent Southern family on a guest to discover passion. “Denise is the perfect addition to the Single Ladies cast,” Queen Latifah said. “She is bringing a fun, new element to the show.” Single Ladies, VH1′s first hourlong scripted series, is a romantic comedy series about Keisha, Raquel and April (Shea) – best friends with different philosophies on love, sex and relationships, proving not all women have the same desires.
Denise, who is a Brooklyn native of Puerto Rican, Dominican and Greek decent, was on "All My Children" for 3 years before it went off the air. And also appeared in this year's big comedy What's Your Number? with Anna Farris. Not sure how I'm feeling about this. Denise's acting skills, as I personally watched her on "AMC" for years, have never been above par. But then again, neither are anyone else's on that show. And she seems like a sweet girl who won't compete with the diva antics of co-star LisaRaye McCoy. So maybe she'll fit right in.

"Single Ladies" begins production on Season 2 in Atlanta in January for a early premiere in summer.
