Zooey Deschanel On The Covers Of ALLURE MAGAZINE! [Photos]

Zooey Deschanel is on a roll off of her Golden Globes red carpet shine with a new cover of Allure magazine.

The New Girl is featured on the cover of the beauty mag showing off the blue gaze that captured America. In the issue, Zooey revisits a trying time in her life: high school.

The 31-year-old actress admits to being bullied in school when she was younger, and the nightmares have carried over into her professional life; professing her inability to read gossip sites.

"Girls [would] spit in my face! People were so mean to me, I'd cry every day...[Today] I can't go on Gawker."

The 500 Days of Summer starlet also has no problem pinpointing how the public sees her when it comes to her physical appearance.

"I'm bangs and eyes! It's who I am. There have been periods when I've grown my bangs out, but I always cut them back, so it's like, why go through the trouble?"
