However, in her recent interview with Oprah Winfrey for "Oprah's Next Chapter," the pop star invites the talk show icon to her native Barbados to chat about her career and personal life, even getting a bit tearful when she talks about her past with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown.
The "Where Have You Been" singer was clearly referring to the domestic violence assault she experienced at the hands of Brown while the two were together.
During the sit-down, Rih also admits to Oprah, "You keep surprising me today!" as she both laughs and cries while answering questions. Check out the short preview below:
