Snoop Dogg Talks About His New Views on His KIDS SMOKING & Being Friends With Paris Hilton!
January 04, 2013Unknown"It's not that I would ever push weed on our kids, but if they wanted to, I would love to show them how, the right way, so that way they won't get nothing put in their sh*t or overdose or trying some sh*t that ain't clean."See what else he told the magazine below:
On why he decided to start smoking up after those 120 days: "Um, I don't know."
On suicide: "A lot of people that I know have been committing suicide. That's fucked up! Because I be with these niggas, and then two weeks later: POW! And you see no signs of them. It's okay to live; it's okay to have problems and struggles. It's okay to not have money. It's okay to not have success. You don't have to kill yourself. And a lot of people is doing that; they resorting to that. And I'm trying to put some life back into this world, because it's too much death."
On the Marley family: "We was all together in the dressing room, and I just was like, 'Man, I gotta tell you something. Man, I'm fiddin' to do an album and a movie, and Bob Marley reincarnated,' and them niggas, when I said that shit, they eyes lit up like—they was fuckin' happy! I thought they was gonna be like, 'Nah, man, you can't fuck with our father's shit.' They was like, honored that I was doing it."
On his friendship with Paris Hilton: "We understand each other. Like, certain people in the industry become friends; they're from two different parts of the world, but they end up being the same kind of people. Like, I really understand Paris, you know what I'm saying? Like, for real. Like, a real friend. If I went to school with them, she'd probably have been doing my homework and all kind of shit; we'd have been friends, real, hanging tough. Like, real friends. Because I get her." Feel free to let your head explode now.
On Miles Davis: "I had a conversation with Babyface one time and Babyface was like, 'Man, when I listen to you rap, that shit is like Miles Davis, like Miles playin' an instrument... I don't hear your voice as words, I hear your voice as an instrument.' And I was like 'Wow, Babyface just said that shit.' That shit blew my mind, that shit made me want to find out who Miles Davis was 'cause I didn't know who the fuck he was."
Snoop Lion also told The Hollywood Reporter,
"There would be less high-speed chases, less robberies, less crime [if marijuana was legalized]. Go to Amsterdam or the Netherlands where it is legal and you see that the crime rate is nonexistent, the murder rate is probably under 10 percent, people learn to get along! There are people riding on bicycles being happy and it's because of the environment that's provided by the legalization of marijuana."
