B. Scott Suing BET for $2.5 Million After Forcing Him to Wear Men's Clothing!

August 07, 2013Fred

B. Scott a style expert and contributing editor to The Glam Network as well as an Ebony Magazine advice columnist, is suing BET for forcing him to wear men's clothing.

In June, Scott, whose androgynous and a self-proclaimed multimedia maven, showed up at the BET awards pre show as a host, wearing and actually did the first segment of the show in women's clothing.

Via TMZ, the lawsuit claims that after the first segment Scott was called backstage and was ordered to "mute the makeup, pull back his hair" and remove the women's wear ...which included heels.

Scott is suing BET for $2.5 Million dollars, because being asked to change your clothes is worth that much- right?

BET hasn't responded to the lawsuit, but did issue a statement following a meeting with GLAAD back in June and had this to say:
"The incident with B. Scott was a singular one with a series of unfortunate miscommunications from both parties,' the network stated. 'We regret any unintentional offense to B. Scott and anyone within the LGBT community and we seek to continue embracing all gender expressions."
Many fans are now concerned with Scott's career if this lawsuit plays out and hopes that he won't be blackballed.
