For the first time Jay Z, who recently attended the Trayvon Martin virgil in New York City with his wife Beyonce and her mother Tina Knowles, has spoken out about the George Zimmerman verdict, the hardships African American's still face in America, and the importance of using his influence to have a positive effect on hiphop culture.
President Obama recently spoke about the courts controversial ruling and expressed how he felt about the situation, and in the video below Jay Z commended him for taking a stand as an African American male who has faced similar issues in his own life.
