Despite many reports about the show lacking diversity, actress Kerry Washington finally made her big debut on last night's new episode of "Saturday Night Live" alongside the sexy Jay Pharaoh.

Watch the new mom-to-be and "Scandal" actress stealing the show with her vibrant energy and array of characters below:

VIA POPWATCH:
In case you weren’t clear on this sketch’s intentions, how about a written message from the producers to help you out: “The producers of Saturday Night Live would like to apologize to Kerry Washington for the number of black women she will be asked to play tonight…Ms. Washington is an actress of considerable range and talent and also because ‘SNL’ does not currently have a black woman in the cast.
As for the latter reason, we agree this is not an ideal situation and look forward to rectifying it in the near future…unless, of course, we fall in love with another white guy first.” Hmm, funny and non-committal, just how I like my men.

Rapper Eminem also made his debut on the show and performed his singles "Berzerk" and "Survival" from "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," (due out next week).

Em was joined by album producer Rick Rubin and a rock backing band -- and honestly, it's unclear whether or not he was actually lip-syncing through the entire performance.

Via (HollywoodReporter): And for his "Survival" performance, the Billboard cover rapper was also joined on stage with Liz Rodrigues, who performs on the album version, Eminem recruited frequent collaborator Skylar Grey to help sing the hook.
