Yesterday, during an appearance on the Steve Harvey Show, actor Michael Ealy announced to the world that he recently welcomed a son named Elijah with wife Khatira Rafiqzada.

"You've been married for about a year now, right?" Harvey asked Ealy during a segment about the movie. "You see kids in the future?"

"We have a son," replied Ealy, adding that his son's name is Elijah. Co-star Regina Hall also shared that Elijah is a "beautiful little boy."

The "Almost Human" star — who didn't mention his son's age — added "I could never really understand why people announce the birth of their children."

Michael however thinks his private life needs to remain private.

The couple secretly tied the knot in October 2012 and have been together for almost four years.
