R&B soul singer D'Angelo has now cancelled five shows in Chicago, Minneapolis, San Diego, New York and Maryland. Live Nation, the promoter of the shows, said an unspecified medical emergency was responsible for the cancellations.
Rapper 50 Cent appeared in court this morning to plead not guilty to the domestic violence charges he faces stemming from an incident with one of his baby mama's, Daphne Joy. 50 allegedly kicked Daphne and destroyed her furniture and property back on June 23rd.
I guess she forgot that he was a known douche-bag before she married him!
Comedian/actor Russell Brand is letting it all out when it comes to his past sex-life with ex-wife Katy Perry. Brand made an off-color joke about having sex with Perry during a warm-up gig for his Messiah Complex tour at the Soho Theater last week.

By now, everyone knows that Andre 3000 is starring as Jimi Hendix in the Jimi Hendrix biopic "All Is By My Side," which was recently added to the Toronto International Film Festival line up in September. But nobody knew Andre was working on a new solo album until the President of Music Programming and Specials for BET Networks, Stephen G. Hill broke the news on twitter.

Andre, is of course a member of Atlanta's famed Outkast, hasn't released a solo album since Outkast's 2006 soundrack album for "Idlewild." I'd love to see what he has in store if in fact he's dropping another album. Billboard reached out to a rep for the rapper and the rep had this to say about the rumor:
"Regarding reports of a specific plan to release an album in early 2014," the rep says, "There is no official confirmation on that report."
So we'll have to wait and see on this one but I'd love another Andre 3000 album.
