Doctor Jack Cassell says he put the sign up because he thinks the new health care overhaul is a prescription for disaster.

Dr. Cassell's sign has caused a firestorm. Critics have labeled his sign "disgusting" and "outrageous." One ex-nurse said Dr. Cassell is "a disgrace to his profession."

"How I vote is how I vote and it's not his business," said one local resident.

"If it's about politics, maybe I'll need to look elsewhere," said another resident.




Dr. Cassell was asked what his response is to people who say he's a doctor, not a politician.

"That's right, I am. I have no intention of becoming a politician. I'm expressing my anger," said Cassell.

Despite the ominous sign, Cassell told  he's not actually turning patients away.

"I'm not denying care to anyone," said Cassell.

The doctor also has a sign inside his office, referring to what he calls "the morons in Washington."

One patient at Dr. Cassell's office outside Orlando is solidly behind her doctor, saying she thinks Dr. Cassell's sign is "awesome."
