After she admitted to using racial slurs in the past and having employees at her brother Bubba's place of business using separate bathrooms, "Food Network" celebrity chef Paula Deen has reportedly bailed on her "Today Show" appearance on Friday morning.

Deen, who now wears the 'RACIST' title after finally coming clean last Monday to using the word "Ni**a" in her deposition, flew to New York for the interview but had a change of heart and called the network at last minute to cancel her appearance due to the medias backlash.

Matt Lauer had this say during "The Today Show:"

"We had arranged to do an interview with Paula Deen, it had been going on, the discussions about that interview, throughout the day yesterday with her people."

"I finally spoke to her late afternoon on the phone yesterday and we talked about the fact that it would be an open and candid discussion, no holds barred."

He later added,

"She told me at one point.... 'I don't know how to be anything but honest.'"

"This morning, although we have not spoken to her-- she has not called us-- her publicity people have told us she's exhausted and will not be showing up." 

Lauer took to Twitter and tweeted: "Hoping to get more on the Paula Deen situation soon. Very confusing...."

And following her no show this morning, the Chef's attorney, William Franklin issued a statement saying, "Contrary to media reports, Ms. Deen does not condone or find the use of racial epithets acceptable."

The food network also issued a statement saying:

"The channel does not tolerate any form of discrimination and is a strong proponent of diversity and inclusion. We will continue to monitor the situation."

Today anchor Al Roker had this to say: "Paula Deen has been on the show so many times. She's a friend of the show-- we consider her a friend. We would hope she would reconsider, because she really needs to address this."

Plus, just when you thought things couldn't get any worst for Deen, "Gossip Queen" and talk show host, Wendy Williams gave her two-cents about the whole situation during an interview with E!Online.

Here's the highlights of Wendy's interview:

"This is something that has been swirling around about Paula Deen for longer than this story. It's just a shame to hear that she had admitted in her deposition that she uses the word and that she freely throws around racist jokes. She seems to think that it's OK. It's not OK. It just goes to show you money doesn't buy you class, it only exposes who you really are. Stupid is as stupid does."

Williams, who is curious about Paula's public friendship with Oprah Winfrey, then adds:

"Deen said a lot of ignorant things and a lot of very revealing things about who she is when she's out of the kitchen. Oprah, believe it or not, is the first person I thought about when I heard this statement. I said, 'I wonder if her black friend Oprah knows about this statement? I wonder if Oprah's been privy in person to hear Paula use this and if she's ever talked to Paula about it?' I'm done with Paula Deen!"

The TV personality concludes the interview with, "Fortunately for Paula, all of this ignorance has fallen out of her mouth after she's massed more money than she'll know how to spend in her lifetime. So don't worry about Paula, she'll be just fine."

Deen is said to be work $16 Million.

"The whole entire waiter staff was middle-aged black men, and they had on beautiful white jackets with a black bow tie. I mean, it was really impressive. That restaurant represented a certain era in America… after the Civil War, during the Civil War, before the Civil War… It was not only black men, it was black women… I would say they were slaves.”
