Drake SUED For Copyright Infringement After Ripping Off His Jeweler!
September 12, 2013UnknownDrake says he wears every single chain even when he's in the house, but it looks like one of those chains earned him a lawsuit.
Famous jeweler Michael Raphael, who owns Baden Baden Inc., filed a lawsuit against Drake for copyright infringement after Drake made several copies of the custom OVO Owl Chain that Raphael's company had designed for him.
Drake paid $49,204 for the custom diamond and platinum owl pendant back in January, but sometime in June Raphael says he started noticing copies of the pendant appearing all over Drake's Instagram.
Rahael's company is suing for unspecified damages due to copyright infringement, and they are asking the court to force Drake to give them all the copied chains.
Drake has not responded to the lawsuit as of yet, but we will keep you updated on the latest update. Do you think he deserves to keep his chains?
