Last night, the 4th annual BLACK GIRLS ROCK! AWARDS show was in full motion with celebrities like Jennifer Hudson (sans weave), Queen Latifah, Keke PalmerEveKelly Rowland, Mara Brock Akil with the cast of Girlfriends and much more flocking to the BET taping at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Slaying pink carpet, our favorite TV cast of "Girlfriends." (Left) Jill Marie Jones (rocking a chic black cocktail dress), Brock Akil (wearing a orange cocktail dress with matching strappy heels), Persia White (killing them softly in a white sheer dress), Tracee (spicing things up in a flirty black dress, a black blazer and laced-up boots), and lastly, Golden Brooks.

Brooks knew she was working it when she rolled into the event in that deep chest-cut white dress with that long slit at the side. She completed it with white heels (reaching for the sky), and long gold jewelries around her neck. #werk.

"I'm In Love With A Church Girl" star and rapper Ja Rule also made an appearance at the event with his wife, Aisha Atkins.

Reality star Lala Anthony wore a black jumpsuit and black heels with sheer patterns.

Judson showed off her new look on the pink carpet while rocking a black mini dress and knee-high boots. She also presented Queen Latifah on stage with the "Rock Star" award. Among other notable figures, Patti LaBelle snagged this year's "Living Legend Award."

"Destiny's Child" singer Michelle Williams rocked a Marrissa Webb cream-colored open back dress with a black stripe around the waist and, black & white Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

She carried a clutch designed by Inge Christopher and was styled by Doug TheStylist. This was just Williams' first look of the night. Later that night, Michelle changed into her second look wearing a Novis-designed party dress.

Also, Jennifer Hudson, who is getting ready for her upcoming musical film Black Nativity, also performed her new single, "I Can't Describe (The Way It Feels)." Check out the photos below:

  3. Its not about being "liberal". Its not a political choice. And as for Jane being Bi, nothing in the article proves that. The only inference comes from a [possibly imaginary] "friend".

  4. I would guess that Jane would have plenty of female takers to be special friends with her. Many women find her sexy. Nothing unusual for women to have feelings for other attractive women.
