Despite her recent money woes and lawsuits from concert promoters, R&B legend Mary J. Blige has managed to hit the recording boot to drop her rendition of an unforgettable holiday single entitled, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," and a new album.

Judy Garland introduced the song in the 1944 movie “Meet Me in St. Louis,” and artists including Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, James Taylor, the Pretenders and Aimee Mann have all covered the somber classic over the years.

The track will be featured on Mary's new album, "A Mary Christmas" dropping on October 15th. And also includes renditions of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire),” “Little Drummer Boy” and a selection of collaborations: Barbra Streisand and Chris Botti join Blige on “When You With Upon a Star,” Jesse J turns up for “Do You Hear What I Hear?” and Marc Anthony sings on “Noche de Paz,” a Spanish version of “Silent Night.”
