NFL Star Darren Sharper CHARGED WITH RAPE For 'Allegedly' Drugging Multiple Women

NFL star Darren Sharper has been charged with two counts of rape in Los Angeles ... after the former New Orleans Saints star allegedly drugged multiple women with Zolpidem (Ambien) and raped them in his hotel room.
38-year-old Sharper, who is Gabrielle Union's ex-boyfriend, is charged with two counts of rape by use of drugs, four counts of furnishing a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance, all felonies. Officials tell TMZ, Sharper met two women inside a West Hollywood nightclub on Oct. 30th and invited them to another party.
On the way, Officials say they stopped at Darren's hotel room and he gave them each a shot -- a drink caused the women to pass out for hours. After recovering from the drug infused drinks, one of the women claims she woke up with Sharper sexually assaulting her and the second woman says she woke up and "interrupted the act."
Officials say the baller struck again on January 14th, returning to the same West Hollywood nightclub and found two more women, whom he pulled the same scheme on and inviting them back to his room, gave them the same drug infused drink and raped them.
Both women reportedly left his hotel and sought medical treatment, Sharper was then arrested three days later (Jan. 17th). He was released on a $200,000 bail, and in addition to the rape, he was illegally in possession of morphine and accused of raping six females in 3 other states including Arizona, Nevada and Louisiana.
If convicted, Darren Sharper faced up to 30 years in prison with a second recommended bail at $100 million.
