R&B singer Ciara, who's expected to perform at L.A Gay Pride on Saturday night, is now being sued by a LA gay bar for failing to appear at their event on Friday.

According to the suit, which was filed by "The Factory," claims the "Body Party" singer decided to backed out of one of their events during the L.A Pride Week that starts today (June 7th).

The popular LA nightspot claims Cici signed a $10,000 contract to appear at the club tonight (June 7) before taking the main stage at the 2013 L.A. Pride parade tomorrow. 
TMZ reports, the documents says they didn't expect Ciara to perform, but she seemed amenable to making an appearance.

The singer however backed out at last minute with club promoters suing her for breach of contract and requesting her to pay back the money spent on promoting her appearance.

A rep for the entertainer shortly released a statement saying:

"Ciara's commitment to perform at L.A Gay Pride on Saturday night prevented her from making such a Friday night appearance. Despite being notified early last week that Ciara could not appear, the Factory continued to market and promote Ciara's appearance."

The rep who clearly calls the whole thing bogus, continues to say:

"The reason for the continued marketing/promotion is unclear, as it is not known why the Factory would intend to continue to mislead the public, to cause damage to the L.A. Gay Pride festival and to attempt to portray Ciara in a negative light."
