"Real Housewives of Atlanta" Kenya Moore Officially Evicted From Her Atlanta Home!
June 19, 2013GWL StaffWe recently reported that "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reality star Kenya Moore was being evicted from her Atlanta home by her landlord for failing to pay May rent ($848 short ones).
But according to Kenya, "I paid my bills on time with no back rent," and alleges her landlady made up the conflict over the lease in order to sell a story to the media to damage her reputation.
The reality star then tried to defend herself-- counter-suing for wrongful eviction, slander and wait for it...emotional distress. Which was all dismissed by a Fulton County judge, who ruled against Moore, in GA., on Tuesday morning.
Moore was also absent from the eviction lawsuit airing.
Here's what her landlady, Conya Weems had to say:
"I am making this statement as a result of the eviction order and judgment made against my former tenant, Kenya Moore, on June 18, 2013 in the Magistrate Court of Fulton County.
The decision to file this eviction notice regarding Ms. Moore was reached after pursuing every possible amicable way to settle this matter privately. I am grateful that the judicial system has brought finality to this eviction process and I look forward to regaining possession of my home.”Moore, who will be packing a lot of boxes, is expected to move out of the Atlanta mansion within the next 30 days.
