It appears as if Kris Jenner was behind the drug reports being leaked to the media, in some sort of attempt to get back at Lamar Odom for cheating on his wife, Khloe Kardashian. And it appeared to have initially worked, when Lamar moved out and didn't receive any contract offers for the upcoming NBA season.

But it didn't have a lasting effect.

We recently reported that the Los Angeles Clippers were refusing to re-sign Lamar following his drug problems. And now that he's moved back into his home with Khloe -- according to Celeb Dirty Laundry -- he's already received a contract offer.

Jeff Schwartz, Lamar’s manager has confirmed that the Lakers have offered Lamar a position in their lineup if he hightails it to rehab now. Let’s not forget that Lamar is a two-time championship Laker so he does have a history of delivering for the team and if he agrees to this deal then everyone wins.

Back to the Lakers? That's an interesting turn of events, but considering how much the drug rumors damaged his NBA prospects.. it's not a bad deal.
