Eminem's Latest "The Marshall Matthers: LP 2" Album No. 1 On Billboard's Hot R&B and Hip-Hop Chart + May Lose It To Lady Gaga's Artpop!

Eminem's new album "The Marshall Mathers LP2" has no competition on the Billboard charts!

The 40-year-old rapper's latest album -- released on November 5th -- is catapulting him back to the top with ten songs On Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Chart.

That's right, ten Songs on Billboard's Hot R&B and Hip-Hop Chart! The album sold a little under 780,000 copies in its first and earned Eminem the second-highest sales week of the year, trailing Justin Timberlake's 968,000 sold for "The 20/20 Experience."

Billboard.com reports that Eminem's new album has climbed rapidly to number one and out of his 8 albums to appear on the chart only one didn't take the number one spot:
Over on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, as previously noted, "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" rules the top of the list, as it zooms from No. 67 to No. 1. (It debuted last week due to early sales, as some retailers broke street date and started selling the album early.)
This is his seventh chart-topper on the list out of eight appearances. His only album to miss the top was “Curtain Call: The Hits,” which debuted and peaked at No. 2 on Dec. 24, 2005.
In short of what Billboard is telling us, we're not really surprised of the rapper's album success and at age 40, Eminem shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon!

Plus, Eminem might have to settle for second best as Lady Gaga's "Artpop" album is set to take over the no.1 spot based on new projections. Ouch!
