On Thursday, it was reported that 49ers Colin Kaepernick, his teammate Quinton Patton and former 49er Ricardo Lockette are allegedly being investigated by Miami PD for raping a Miami woman, who claims she found herself in a hospital after passing out in an apartment with the three players.

Miami Police Dept. officials told TMZ, a rape kit was administered on the unidentified woman at the heart of the Kaepernick investigation while she was inside the hospital.

Cops were summoned to the hospital where the woman wound up after allegedly hanging out with Colin and the two other NFL players at the Viceroy Hotel in Miami on April 1.

The woman told police she smoked pot at the apartment ... then became intimate with Colin and even got undressed -- shortly before she blacked out and woke up in a hospital bed.

We were not told the rape kit results.

Colin is now speaking out about the investigation, where he says the media is reporting the wrong side of the story. However, it's unclear if he means that the media or the woman is selling false accusations.
So far, no charges have been filed. Stay tuned as the story develops!
